This forum was established primarily as a safe space for vegans to discuss living as a vegan in a non-vegan world. Members are free to vent their frustrations in this context without being called self-righteous, holier than thou, or elitist. We are not interested in debating with hunters, those in favor of animal use/exploitation, grumpy omnivores who think that we're giving them the short end of the stick in our discussions, or others who wish to advocate an anti-vegan or anti-animal liberation/rights stance.

If you are not vegan or seriously on the way to veganism, please find an alternate forum where such discussion and debate is welcomed. The moderators and administrators reserve the right to determine who fits the above definitions. Accounts are approved at our discretion, and access to these forums is not guaranteed, automatic, or a right.

The Rules

You know, no one ever really reads these things, but we have them anyway. Why? Because for a while, we didn't have them, and while things generally worked out okay, there were always one or two people who managed to make themselves an unabated pain in the ass. These same people would whine "well, it isn't against the ruuuules!"

So, now we have rules. Thank the idiots.

Yeah, we know. Rules are for the man. Rules keep whitey in power. Rules keep the machine running and harsh your mellow. Oh well. Tough. These are the rules we operate by. If you don't like them, don't use the forums.
